What it doesn't have yet is the record — somewhere the goals, the seasons, and the people behind them are kept. That's what we're building, and we're looking for people to build it with.

Who we are

MiCANCHA is being built as the home of community sports in the 805 — a CANCHA is where the heart is, and everyone has one. It starts with soccer.

Our first product is the MiCANCHA app, out now on iOS — profiles, teams, and stats for the people who play here. Around it we're building the rest: documentary storytelling, apparel, and coverage of a soccer community that's never had much of it.

It's founded on the belief that everyone has a CANCHA, a place where they compete, grow, and belong. We're building something meant to last, around competition, storytelling, and local pride.

We're not building for one town. We're building for the whole 805 — the same area code, the same fields, the same game.

Why now

Founding partners don't sponsor MiCANCHA. They shape it.

Almost everything is still being decided — what the apparel looks like, which stories get told first, what the app becomes next. Partners who come in now are part of those conversations. Partners who come in later inherit the answers.

Founding partners get priority placement, permanent recognition as founding partners, and the chance to grow alongside MiCANCHA as it expands across the 805.

We'd rather tell you honestly than oversell it. MiCANCHA isn't pretending to be something it isn't. We're building from the ground up, and every field, every partnership, and every season is being built with intention.

Questions we get

Do we have to commit long term?

No. Longer partnerships give you the most exposure, but single-project and single-film sponsorships are available and always will be.

Can we contribute products or services instead of money?

Absolutely, and it's often more useful to us. Printing, apparel, photography, video, design, development — in-kind partnerships are treated exactly like cash sponsorships.

Can I volunteer or help without sponsoring?

Please do. We need photographers, editors, translators, and people who know this community. Use the form below and tell us what you'd want to do.

Is this only for soccer?

Soccer is where we're starting, not where we're stopping. A CANCHA is where the heart is, and everyone has one. Partners who come in now come in across everything that follows.
