This policy explains what information MiCANCHA LLC collects through micancha805.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
Who we are
MiCANCHA LLC is a sports and media company based in Ventura County, California. You can reach us at info@micancha805.com or (805) 612-4615.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to type into a form on this site.
- Waitlist form: your email address and the role you select (player, team manager, referee, sponsor, or school / field owner).
- Partner form: your name, organization, email address, phone number, the topic you select, and your message.
- CANCHA submissions: if you type your own CANCHA into the box on the homepage, we receive that text.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive personal information such as government identification numbers, financial account details, or health information.
What we don't do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
- We do not run advertising on this site, and we do not share your information with advertisers.
- This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts.
How we use it
We use waitlist information to send you details about the founding season — division information, dates, and registration — and occasional updates about MiCANCHA. We expect that to be roughly one email a month before the season begins.
We use partner form submissions to reply to your inquiry and to continue that conversation.
CANCHA submissions may be displayed publicly on the site or on our social media, without your name attached unless you give us one.
Where it's stored
Form submissions are stored in a database hosted by Supabase, and this website is hosted by Netlify. Both providers process data on our behalf and may retain standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and operational purposes. If we use an email service to send updates, your email address will be stored there as well.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist and partner information for as long as it's useful for the purpose you gave it to us, or until you ask us to delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. Email info@micancha805.com and we'll take care of it. Every email we send will include a way to unsubscribe.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under California privacy law, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we'll say so on the site.
